Scrivener’s Tools is a mindful stationery brand inspired by the Murray River, cottagecore nostalgia and the joy of everyday writing.
They needed an elevated identity that captured this warmth and rootedness while giving them the clarity and confidence to grow.

Scrivener’s Tools began with a beautiful vision but needed a brand identity strong enough to tell their story with depth and clarity. The founder wanted to create a stationery store that made writing feel intentional and magical. Something that blended heritage, craft and the quiet pleasure of putting pen to paper. What they needed was a visual system that held all these ideas in a unified way.
My role was to guide the process and shape a brand that felt both grounded and whimsical. This balance came through in a crafted monogram, gentle typography inspired by vintage storybooks and rustic, natural frames. Colours were drawn from the founder’s home on the Murray River, warm drinks, fresh bread and the earth. Together, these choices created a brand identity that feels deeply rooted, mindful and welcoming.
The final identity gives Scrivener’s Tools a clear story to grow from. It positions the brand as thoughtful, high quality and quietly compelling, and offers a consistent visual language that will support future products, marketing and online experiences.
